1. Introduction

This Refund and Cancellation Policy sets out the terms under which consultancy services provided by Kathryn Ryder, trading as IEI Consultancy, may be cancelled and refunded. These terms are designed to ensure clarity and fairness.

2. Cancellations by the Client

- Cancellations must be made in writing via email to contact@ieiconsultancy.com.
- Cancellations received more than 14 days before the agreed start date of services will receive a full refund of any fees paid.
- Cancellations received between 7 and 14 days before the agreed start date will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations received less than 7 days before the agreed start date will not be eligible for a refund.
- If services have already commenced, no refund will be provided for work completed.

3. Rescheduling by the Client

Where possible, we will work with clients to reschedule services. Rescheduling requests must be made in writing. Acceptance of rescheduling will be at our discretion and subject to availability.

4. Cancellations by IEI Consultancy

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel services, clients will be offered the choice of rescheduling or receiving a full refund of any fees paid for services not yet delivered. We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential costs incurred by the client (e.g., travel or accommodation).

5. Exceptions

Refunds and cancellations may be varied in exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness or other unforeseen events. These will be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

6. Consumer Rights

If you are contracting with us as a consumer (rather than on behalf of a school or organisation), you may have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. However, if you request services to begin within this period, you acknowledge that the right to cancel may be limited once work has started.
